The Children’s Gallery at the Museum of Alabama is fun for all ages! Created in collaboration with early childhood education experts and families, this immersive space invites young visitors to explore what it means to be part of Alabama, from the natural environment to their homes, schools, and communities. The space features:

• A limestone cave and an ecology wall that encourages children to explore the ecosystems that make our state unique;


• Play spaces that invite young visitors to learn how Alabamians lived, learned, and contributed to their communities throughout our state's history; and


• An interactive spacecraft that highlights our state’s contributions to space exploration and underscores the role young Alabamians can play in our state's future.
