On February 8, 2002, bulldozers began removing trees and sidewalks.


February 11-15, 2002
During the week of February 11, 2002, the preparation of the construction site continued. Click on the thumbnail image for a larger picture.


February 18-22, 2002
During the week of February 18, 2002, after a small weather delay, contractors installed water pipes to facilitate installation of a supplemental water line. The new line will permit continuing service to the archives during construction. The line should be in service next week, and we expect the construction to pick up significantly.
