What You Can Do For Us:

We need enthusiastic volunteers who can bring Alabama history alive for visitors and ensure its preservation for future generations.
Current Volunteer Needs:

Docents (tour guides): Guide visitors, especially schoolchildren, through museum galleries.

Receptionists: Meet and greet visitors and schoolchildren. Offer an orientation of building and direct visitors to museum galleries or research room.

Hands-On Gallery Assistant:  Help children discover history through touchable items and activities in Grandma’s Attic and gallery.

Gift Shop Attendants: Sell souvenirs and assist visitors and schoolchildren with merchandise.
