![]() A March for the Right to Vote Photographs by Spider Martin ![]() Following the temporary exhibit Shalom YAll: A Road Trip Through Jewish Alabama, the 22 Spider Martins Civil Rights images reproduced for an exhibit at the Alabama Department of Archives and History recently were reinstalled. They represent an in-depth chronology of events occurring in Selma and Montgomery in 1965: Bloody Sunday, rallies at churches, voter registration efforts in Selma, the second march attempt, and the 54-mile march from Selma to Montgomery. The exhibit is ongoing, and can be viewed in the second floor lobby at the Alabama Department of Archives and History, 624 Washington Avenue, Montgomery, AL.
