The Government Records Division produces a variety of publications designed to assist state and local officials as well as the general public.
At their meetings on May 8, 1996, the State and Local Government Records Commissions endorsed publication of a periodic newsletter. State and Local Records News (formerly Government Records News) is distributed quarterly to advise state and local agencies of recently approved records disposition authorities (RDAs), new ADAH services and publications, changes in the law, and other issues affecting public records.
The Government Records Division publishes technical and procedural leaflets to assist and advise state and local agencies on records and information management issues. These leaflets cover several topics as outlined below:
