ALABAMA'S SECRETARY OF STATE

James H. Weaver

Weaver, James H., Secretary of State, 1856-60, was born in Georgia, but removed to Coosa County at an early age. He served a term as sheriff of his county; was elected to the House of Representatives, 1853; and served as Secretary of State, 1856-60.
