Professional & Community Activities Past member of many, many boards of nonprofit, charitable organizations serving as President of the following county chapters: Heart Association, Cancer Society, Leukemia Society, Boys and Girls Club, Chamber of Commerce Leadership Programs, Mental Health Association, United Way, Community Unity Past President of Alabama Counseling Association – statewide organization representing counselors in the state.
Treasurer of the Alabama College Association. Member of the State Board for the Heart Association. Taught Sunday school at First Baptist Church in Hartselle for ten years.
