One kind of family tree can be made using family pictures.  You will have to do some looking through old photographs and hope that your family has saved a large collection. When you find the pictures of your parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, etc., take them to a xerox machine and make copies.  Carefully put away the real photos and use only the copies.

Cut out your picture and glue it to the bottom of a large sheet of white paper.  Above your picture glue your mom and dad's picture.  Glue their parents' pictures above them.  Continue until you are out of pictures.
